We are an entrepreneurial family business founded in 2002 focused on manufacturing and marketing spunlace roll goods. We supply our products globally to the baby wipes, personal care, home care, medical care and technical markets.

With our headquarters in Barcelona (Spain) and our production plant in Sant Quintí de Mediona (Spain), we aim to offer our clients optimized, high-quality solutions. We believe that our professional and highly qualified team, together with our state-of-the art facilities, are the keys to meeting our customers’ needs. What are considered regulatory breaches?

These breaches include, but are not limited to:

Who can submit a report?

Any person within the company and any external persons who are or have been associated or related to the company in a working or professional context.

How can I submit a report?

You can submit it verbally, in writing or in person, by following the steps indicated in the form available on the Confidential Whistleblower channel. Reports may also be anonymous.

How will the report be processed?

It will be processed guaranteeing your confidentiality and prohibiting any retaliation against the informant.

What principles protect the person reporting?

The internal reporting system fulfils the safeguards of confidentiality, non-retaliation, respect for independence, data protection, secrecy of communications and good practices for the monitoring, investigation and protection of the informant.

December 2002

BCNonwovens SL is founded by Miquel Viñas, CEO of BCN.

July 2003

The first manufacturing line is built in Sant Quintí de Mediona (Spain).

July 2004

Production of spunlace starts.

September 2011

A second manufacturing line is built in Sant Quintí de Mediona (Spain).

September 2015

Marko Rajamaa joins the company as General Manager

Marko Rajamaa

CEO

Mr. Rajamaa joined BCNonwovens in 2015 as General Manager. Prior to this, Mr. Rajamaa served as Senior Vice President of Buckeye Technologies, Inc. based in Memphis, TN as of 2006. Between 1999 and 2006 he served in different roles at Buckeye Steinfurt GmbH, most recently as Vice President EMEA.

Prior to joining Buckeye Technologies, Mr. Rajamaa held various roles of increasing responsibility at Walkisoft (UPM-Kymmene).

Mr. Rajamaa holds M.Sc. degree from the University of Helsinki.

Cristina Ambrosini

HR Director

Mrs. Ambrosini joined BCNonwovens since its foundation in 2003. At BCNonwovens she has been leading different areas, starting in Finance department and today she has direct responsibilities in HR and Fiber Purchasing.

Prior to this, she worked 17 years in the automotive sector in the Finance department and was member of the Executive Committee.

Mrs. Ambrosini holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Barcelona.

Her passion is open water swimming.

Carme Cazorla

Operations Director

Mrs. Cazorla joined BCNonwovens in 2016 as Operations Director. During 19 years she has grown through technical & operational areas. Always active in Lean Manufacturing environments she started as Process Engineer then switched to Production Manager and scaled to Plant and Operations Director in different sectors such as paper, technical fabrics, food and currently nonwovens at international level.

Mrs. Cazorla holds a degree as Forest Engineer (University of Lleida) and an MBA (University Rovira i Virgili).

She is passioned for mountain trecking, travelling and cooking.

Jordi Sans

Finance Director

Mr. Sans joined BCNonwovens in 2014 as Finance Director. Prior to this, he was working 4 years in the same position in the dental healthcare sector and 2 years in the fitness sector.

Mr. Sans holds a Degree and MBA from ESADE business school and coursed a PDD Program at IESE Business School.

His passion is reading (mainly literature and history) and enjoys relaxing at the Balearic Islands.

Sergio Rosales

R&D Director

Mr. Rosales joined BCNonwovens in 2015 as R&D Director. He manages the new development programs from raw material supplier approval to product design definition. He has over 12 years’ experience leading development teams in the European Nonwovens industry.

Mr. Rosales holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from University Rovira i Virgili and an MBA from EADA business school.

He enjoys running and swimming.

Toni Redón

Sales Director

Mr. Redón joined BCNonwovens in 2017 as Sales Director. He has 25 years of professional experience in sales within international environments. He has been developing Sales Teams in different sectors such as Fluid Handling, HVAC and since 2011 in the Nonwovens industry.

Mr. Redón holds a Degree in Economics & BBA from Ramón Llull University and coursed a PDD Program at IESE Business School.

He enjoys running and biking.

Sébastien Monges

Technical Director

Mr. Monges started his professional career in the international market as an engineer, supervising the installation and commissioning of nonwoven machinery. In 2003 he arrived in Sant Quintí de Mediona to supervise the installation and start-up of BCN's first production line. In 2004 he joined BCN's technical team as Process Engineer. He has been promoted internally through different positions until reaching the position of Technical Director.

Mr. Monges holds a degree as Industrial Textile and Automation Engineer (Ecole Nationale des Arts et Industries Textiles - Université de Lille.

He is passioned for mountain trecking, hiking, skiing, and travelling.
